ok. theres 15 days to go and i must blog about two kinds of farewells.
the first is the kaleidescopes:
What a wonderful night it was. It was a great night, with great food and many great memories.
there were speeches, eating, slideshows and dance-offs (in which WE totally won :D ). we really look up to these kids and we cant WAIT to go through this experience. thankyou for everything and we cant wait for you all to be great liasons!
This night was fun filled, even though there were some tears shed (by steph) there were some fun times remembered and bars set for next years.
we will miss you all and we shall see you soon!
now its school:
okay, let me start of by saying, i have the BEST friends in the universe :)
today was probably one of the BEST days!
1st period i had geography which basically consisted of brock, taryn and i looking stuff up on google and being the immature teens we are today :)
2nd period i had child studies and we had to do two sheets (which i failed to do <3) but anyways, nicole, taryn, selina and i just sat about and took photos the whole period :) loving life :)
3rd period we had child studies et again, but we had a party, and as two other classes found out, we had it in the kitchens and had a massive electives party which was really great! i have like 1000000 photos, thanks to carla's photography skills. Thankyou to all :) loved the party
4th period i had english and basically all we did was read techniques cards and eat SUGAR STICKS!!!!! (thankyou tiarne (:)
lunchtime - ok, a lot happened at lunchtime.....
a) handball was intense
b) valerie cried
c) i cried
d) people signed my flag :)
e) mr jay and daniel king had a handball - off :)
amazing lunch, thankyou to all!
5th period i had science and we did a pretty fun experiment using acids and bases. I decided to muck up and clean out the equiptment, place water in the base beaker and then try to squirt people with the squirter.... which ended up in a big massive class running around trying to squirt each other with water
INCLUDING mr alexander!
then the bell went...
6th period. i thought it would be an average, normal, everyday study skills class where brock, alex, taryn, micheal and myself sit up the back and take photos.... but NOOO!
the class threw a surprise party for me. and i was like Oh My GoodNESS!
Selmsey gave me a travel diary and a card and Erin (god bless her soul) gave me a letter which i will ALWAYS keep.
it was a pretty relaxing lesson and i enjoyed it and wanted to thank EVERYONE! :)
Thankyou to all who signed the flag .... I love it
thankyou to nicole and taryn.....i love the flower
thankyou to everyone (including brock and his hot pink skirt) who dressed up.......i loved it!
will never forget today :)
best day ever!!!!
i have fifteen beautiful days left in this beautiful country and i HAVE to start with packing and at LEAST think about it.
Evan and I Skyped the other day and it was soooo cool! i got a tour of the house and it is SOOOOOO amazingly cute! cant wait!!!
I love my friends, i love my family ( biological AND exchange), i love my life.
thankyou all! i will miss you soooo much!!!

lets get quizzical.... mastering the toast... anything else?
its 23 days...(not that I'm counting down or anything (: ) until the girls and I embark on this six month adventure together.
I haven't blogged in a while so here are the basic details:
exhibit a)
Trivia:
the trivia night went splendidly. There were some tables battling it out for the grand title of Prodigy Exchange Trivia Champions (congratulations FigJam on winning). Questions were great, we had some fun (crab racing in particular was my favorite..... maybe next time cool runnings) and the effort put in by not only the girls, but each and every one of the parents as well. Thankyou all for putting in the time and effort, we couldn't have pulled it off without you! (special mention to Patrick who took time out of his life to run the night!)
Toastmasters Graduation:
I know, I know... it was a sad sad day. Holly E, Kiri, Brooke, Bronte, BJ, Holly G, Biannca and I were finally graduating from the toastmasters course. Everyones prepared speeches were (yet again) fantastic! and everyone entertainingly answered their table topics effectivly and i am raelly proud of us all!
Thanks Margaret and Tina and Patrick for guiding us throughout this course!
We've had some funny times... some of my favorite quotes are:
'Only old people drink red wine..' Holly G
'I wish i could become a prostitute in Pretty Woman for Richard Gere!' Tina
What Biannca and I said at the end of the night was completely true and we hope that we can catch up with everyone and we wish you all the best of luck!!
today was pretty relaxing.. went to the music room. hung out with friends... you know. same old same old.
thinking of......?
* packing for america (still have not done yet....:S)
*evan and our skype chat soon!
*life in general...
holidays soon... :D ahhh! imma gonna go crazy :)

sunshine, suntans, big waves
I'm lying here sunbathing on the beach, listening to the beautiful vocals of Sara Blasko's 'Flame Tree's' lying next to my 'mal' (long-board) going to go surfing in a few....
just kidding,
thats what i would be doing this weekend if only,
*i weren't sick
*liz weren't sick
*the surf was decent
*mikaela and liz didn't have soccer today.
Playing pictionary, playing balderdash, having fun in the sun, late-night spa's, playing snooker/pool and poker all night long, midday sleep in's.... sound like the life??
INSTEAD:
today i am sitting in my dads apartment, watching t.v, having endless amounts of coffee's, day-dreaming about surfing, and eating my life away....
Thinking about how i only have 34 days left in this beautiful country and how i should probably start to procrastinate packing and luggage.
Getting woken up at 6:30 a.m by the downstairs coffee machines, doesn't really add up to a good mood,
but reading the new Sookie Stackhouse novel does :)
Last night i was also wasting my life away watching infomercials all night long for the 'Ab Circle Pro' and how i can 'Get the body I've always dreamed of having at the most affordable price!'.... what is the world coming to?
well, now its time for trackie-dacks, toasted ham and cheese sandwiches, watch the rest of David Attembrough and watch some loveyy doveyy movie....
ahhhh the life.

38 days and counting
yes. thats right.
its thirty-eight more beautiful days until me, bj, biannca (aka: the sex god), holly and bronte fly off to 'colourful colorado' :)
here are the updates:
fundraising like mad
toasties is almost finished
and having a ball with the whole process!
i cannot believe that this is all happening!
and also, how soon its going to happen!
i couldn't have met a better bunch of women to be going on this experience with and i cannot wait to be friends with them in my future years :)
this is just basically an introduction into the whole blogging process.
i will probably blog once a week and write about the weeks events and my feelings towards them and events i will be doing in the week to come.
i cant wait to share my experience with all and i cant wait to start this new chapter of my life :)
so lets get going,
full speed ahead!
