so much to tell, so little space.

hey y'all.
I know i haven't written in a week or two...... i think it's two...... anyway. i haven't been writing because i've been too busy!
As you probably know i am loving my time here and have gotten the way of life here.
I am already about to start school and am ready to free fall into this new experience!
But hang on.... i need to tell you about whats been happening over the last few weeks!
I haven't written it all down, so i am going to tell you about the important stuff :)

first of all there was the red rocks concert. Bands that were there included: the color turning, incredible incredible. and my favorite and beloved CAGE THE ELEPHANT! ok.... now lets go through this night in a chronological scale.
we arrived, found our seats and ate some subgay.
Then we got asked if we had any weed..... we of course said no. Then this guy, named devon, baught us beer and we were sitting there thinking
'yo, dude.......GO AWAY!'
i told this guy that i didn't want one and he decided to down it...... he then flirted and flirted with evan until we all decided we had to "desperately go to the bathroom" so we left.
After the bathroom we went back and told him that our "boyfriends" were there and we had to go.........he then kissed evan on the cheek and gave her his number and demanded her number.
May i say, the one good thing out of meeting that young chap was that he called Zander (evans boyfriend) Zoolander. Which is what I have called him from that day forth. We went to the mile high line and sat there for the rest of the concert with this big drunk guy, his son and wife.... overall fun fun night..... oh yes, it is true that I lost my voice during this concert :)

The next night (Wednesday) Brenna stayed the night :) We also went to see charlie st. Cloud and got some ice-cream with shannon, marissa, kelsey, evan and ashley
it was fun, happy and exciting to meet new people and to see some others that I have met before.

On Thursday night, there was the most beautiful meteor shower. Biannca and Kelly stayed the night to watch it :) It was the most beautiful thing and i wish we got some of them down in Sydney!!!

I dont remember what i did after that night so i shall go onto the next week.

16th - LETS HEAR IT FOR BEE-RAE!

So, anyway. Bec had arrived on friday and she decided to have us (evan and i) sleep over at amy's house on monday night :) it was so night and i loved it :) it was great to see amy and bec and to meet amy's parents. We left the hammer house and went to see Eat, Pray, Love at the cinema's. Its the best movie. go and watch it or i will shoot you.
We went to sleep at 3 a.m. and got up at 7 so evan could go to work.

17th - one month.
We had arranged to meet at elitches to celebrate our one month anniversary of arriving to colorado. So all the Australian's and Americans went to elitches. Biannca, Kelly, Evan and I were late and arrived at noon because of Evan's work. Brit and Tai couldn't make it but don't worry girlies! We shall all catch up next month!
So, Jenny, Eric, Evan, Kelly, Biannca, Bronte, Holly and I all enjoyed a few rides before Jen, Eric, Bronte and Holly had to leave. Evan and I took Kelly and Biannca on all sorts of rides as Biannca hadn't yet to experience the wonderful Elitches.
May I just say, we went, we conquered, we had fun.

18th -
I took Biannca shopping in 16th street mall with Bec and Amy. It was a really fun day and I loved it! Ate some noodles, had some fun with Bec, Biannca and Amy. And overall had a great day!
Biannca and I caught the bus back to The hammer household. Where Kelsey was at home, waiting for her friends Orion and Eric to get there. After Kelly had picked up Biannca, Kelsey, Abby and the boys went downstairs to watch Shutter Island. While I attempted to Skype my dad.
..........it failed at the end.
well. what can i say? my dad + technology = complete disaster :) ok... well... maybe not a complete disaster, but a failure nonetheless.

19th - Madjono, you've done it again.
On this day, Evan and I went to Elitches with Madjono, Amy and Bec........
yes i know. twice in one week. How did my stomache handle it!?
It was an entertaining day which I absolutely loved and I can't wait to get back and hang with M.J. again.... farewell mj! Shall see you in January!
I went to Chili's with the exchange people on this night. May i just say. It was fun as!

20th - 22nd - camping camping camping!
May I just say, Camping was the best! It was the first time I had ever gone but i loved EVERY SECOND OF IT. Because there is SOOOOOOOOOOOO much to tell, I shall just give a brief overview of it all!

Day 1 (20th) - we arrived and we ate dinner.... slept in erics tent, froze our butts off! and slept for three hours :) life is bliss....... i think.

Day 2 (21st) - happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear BIANNCA, happy birthday to you!
it was biannca's birthday on this day, and it was a really great day! We all went to the lake and had a ball! it was so nice and lovely. we have NO sights like those in Australia. I fed a chipmonk :)!!!!! and then we all came back to the campsite after spending a few hours at the lake. (in SOUTH PARK! and no, i neither killed, nor saw kenny)
we got back to the campsite, sang biannca happy birthday and played volleyball. (may the pteradactyls be the best team ever!)
Capture the flag - May I say three things: awesome game. great fun. brianna stacks it - yeah ok. I tripped over and hurt my leg........its a great battle scar but I shall live :)
darkness + music = Evolution of Dance. Biannca, Kelly, Evan and I all prepared a dance called the Evolution of Dance (you can youtube it if you wish) I believe that we rocked the shit out of that dance......It was an intence workout.... 6 minutes of enthusiastic dancing... come on!
everyone also played glow in the dark ultimate frisbee. Can I just say, it looked fun! i didn't play because i was worried about my ankles :( but everyone enjoyed themselves and it was a good laugh.
Brandon, Biannca, Bronte, Bonnie, Abby, Zoe ( our dg), Britt, Kelly, Eric, Evan and I all slept in an 8 man tent which we brought. It was a pretty good sleep ,although i feel sorry for brandon...... the dog got a better choice of bed than he did! It was a really fun day and I LOVED it!

Day 3 (22nd) - We all basically, got up, got dressed, packed up and came home..... Still it was a great weekend and I hope we can go camping before the winter falls!

Today I went shopping and bought a back to school (bts) outfit and I think its pretty! I am nervous about school, but at the same time I am sooo excited! I can't wait!
I shall write in a week about my school and what i've been doing.

Sorry I forgot to put you in the blog last week. I enjoyed having coffee and i enjoyed shopping with you :)

Day 17.
today kelsey, Evan, Helena (evan's friend) and I all had an adventure into town to go Paddle-boating at Washington Park. We rode busses and the light-rail and had absolutely no idea where we were going! Anyway. It was worth the trek to get to Washington. It was beautiful. Oh and how could I forget. i got bit by a DUCK! It was soooo cool! i was trying to pat one. And it went bazerrrk and just attacked me! It was the funniest moment :)

Day 18.
This was a really good day. This was my first time going to a Rockies game. and may i say it was fantastic! Just like in the movies! We ate fries, dippin' dots, lemonade and nachos! it was great! This was with the youth group that the girls are members of. I invited Biannca and Kelly and they seemed to enjoy themselves. They also stayed over this night and may i just say that 6 girls + overtiredness + youtube = the best thing ever! We learned to dance the thriller and the time warp. I also apologize for my crazy-ness. :)
Overall, pretty much the best night ever!

Day 19.
Today I went to the mills for half an hour with Biannca and Kelly and we shopped for swimsuits. Bee and I both got gorgeous Victoria's secret swimsuits and may i say, we look hot!
After this we went to Clear Creek to have another attempt of tubing. After waiting for Evan and her friends to get there with the tubes. We ate lunch, made sandcastles, and sunbaked. It was really fun! When Evan and her friends arrived, Biannca and I grabbed two tubes and went off down the creek.
We got passed the spot where Kelly and I got trapped and B turned to me and said 'Well, at least we got further than last time!' May I just say to you B...... smartass!
It was bumpy and I fell off twice but it was fun. Afterwards I felt a little sick and sore, so kelly invited me to go to hers early so Evan and her friends could stay. So I went to kelly's, took a shower and stayed for dinner. It was really nice to get to know the Binns's better.

Day 20.
I'm sorry, I have an addiction. A seeker addiction. If you haven't sat down for an entire day to watch the first and second series of the Legend of the Seeker, can i please recommend you to??

Day 21.
I woke up, straghtened my hair, did my make-up, fussed over what I was going to wear and made my way to Lakewood High school, to get my yearbook pictures done. I look like I am way, way way way WAY too excited for school! haha!
I also went to lunch to Chipoltle with Evan, Kelsey and their mate Danny. (and who can forget Chico!) It was a funny lunch and Australian's, remember Summer Heights High?? Its international :) so may i just say PUCK YOU.
On this night there were the 4th of July fireworks make-up. Some of Kelsey's friends arrived early and i have made some pretty cool mates, they are probably the funniest people ever :)

Day 22.
Today we had Tai's Welcome Aussies Party. It was fun and nice to catch up with the other girls and I can't wait for our monthly get together! It was nice to meet all of Tai's friends!

Day 23.
Today I am going to go to Adventure Golf and ride go-karts and play some put put golf. :) and yes unfortunately i have finished season 2 of Legend of the Seeker :( but we get to soon start the Dexter and True Blood Craze :)

Can't wait for the concert on tuesday :)
Can't wait for school and to choose my subjects (to be truthful i am kinda scared!)
Anyway, i must bid you all farewell

the week that was yesterweek.

Goodmornin' sunshine,
or at least morning to me,
goodnight all Australians!
First of all I would just like to apologise for the lack of photo's on facebook. I told you all in my last blog that I would put photo's up. BUT they were taking forever! AND only 1 uploaded in an hour. I will upload them as soon as I can. Sorry about the delay :(
NOW! here is the rundown of the week that was yesterweek....

Day 10: The first day back in the hammer household.
Today was a day of relaxation, literally, nothing much happened this day. It was a nice day of sleeping in, reading and overall having some downtime.
On this night i also skyped my dad :) love you! xx

Day 11: Video Games and Scavenger hunt!
Today I sat down in the basement and played Xbox with Austin (the hammer sisters, brother-like, figure) it was fun and i totally kicked some zombie ass!
Tonight I went to a youth group scavenger hunt, and it was soooo much fun! I really enjoyed it and i can't wait to see everyone again!

Day 12: Movies
Today Mrs. Hammer left us all some money to go out and either go swimming, or go to the movies and we decided to go to the movies.
We all got ready and decided to go to lunch, and where did we go do you ask?
We went to the famous Chipoltle which is a borito store! They were so dayumm fiiiiine i tell you!
We saw 'grown up's' which i had already seen, but I believe was funnier the second time round!

Day 13: Clean clean clean clean clean.
As this title suggests, we cleaned, and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned!

Day 14: Shopping.
Today we, the children, went shopping and bought a lot of stuff! which was very nice. It was a nice day out and I loved it! We then rode the 'lightrail' to I 25 and Broadway and let me tell you. THAT WAS AN EXPERIENCE. We decided to ride the lightrail on the rush hour train, when there was a Rockies game that night. It was PACKED! you could barely move! But we all had some fun :)
On this night I also Skyped my mum :) which whom i love very much.

Day 15: retail therapy always works :)
I was feeling a bit sad as i realized that i missed home a little bit, so Mrs. Hammer, Abby, Kelsey and I went shopping and drove around downtown for a bit which was really nice! I loved it and let me just tell you that retail therapy is real ladies!

Day 16: House concert
Today was my first day of visiting the famous store Goodwill and let me tell you Australians what this particular goodwill was like.
Imagine Vinnies or Salvo's. Now times that by like 5 and you've got a goodwills :) they're huge!
(oh and they call them thrift stores, not op shops)
anyway. I bought a picture frame for my room and Kelsey just went wild!
On this night we went over to Shannon and Kyles (Evan's and Kelsey's good friends) to watch Kyle's band in a house concert. They were really good!! I loved meeting all of the girls friends from school and i hope we can catch up!!

This is all that has happened through the week :)
