Summer summer summer summer!

Ok, look, i know i've been slacking off lately, but what else could you expect from a 15 year old girl, leaving her country for six months to live in colorful Colorado!!!?
So, obviously i have arrived in the great U S of A, and have settled into the great Hammer Household, but lets backtrack for a second and start to catch up with a brief explaination of my time so far..
(cue eerie music)
Day 1:
i have four words for you. Long, noisy and sleep depravity. That sums up the experience of flying for more than 13 hours straight, even though all the flights went as smooth as possible, it was still a pain in the a**.
The arrival in Denver was the most nerve wracking thing that i've ever done. I had all of these thoughts of 'are they going to like me? what if they don't like me? what am i gunna do!?', but when i got there, all of the worries shot out of my brain and all i felt was the excitement of starting a new life in America with the best family possible!

Day 2:
The welcome barbecue was pretty rad. Just an everyday all American barbecue. It was great seeing all of the liasons and seeing everyone :)
I then went on my very first shopping experience to the Mills (one of the local malls) it was a great experience and i found a new swmsuit! for under 30 dollars all together! (bargain!)

Day 3:
Water world! America's biggest, America's bestWhat a great time! it was sunny, hot and the best day to go fr a swim! Kelly, Biannca, Kelsey, Evan, Abby and I all put the sunblock on and went out for a fun day in the water! It was (as abby would say) the shit.
Highlights : Kelsey got a guys number and also flashed 35 year old creepy men and a lifeguard.
Dinosaur ride.......nothing else needs to be said here!
Getting tanned and sliding down the toilet bowl... oh my god!
had a great day with some of my favorite girls and cant wait to do it again!

Day 4:
Elitches, Elitches, Elitches.
What can i say about elitches?
only that it was freaking mad! Abby, her friends, Evan and I all set off to ride the unTHINKABLE and basically scare the shit out of ourselves.
Fun day, fun rides, fun as girls :)

Day 5:
Tubing + Brianna=bad news.
Ok, so it wasn't ALL that bad. Kelly and i just popped a tube, got stranded on the other side of the river, yelled at some collage a-wholes and got saved by some FIIIIIINE looking boys ^.^
but everyone else had funn :)
Winter Park:
We drove to winter park that night and may i say. W.O.W it is BEAUTIFUL! i LOVE Colorado! Its so pretty and its landscape is like..... WOAH! It took my breath away.

Day 6:
We spent all of this day in Winter Park and we went for a short(ish) Hike. it was sooo amazingly pretty. I took LOTS and LOTS of photos! (check my facebook for them!!!)

Day 7:
We went to a local park/thing. and rode down a tabbogan (known as the Alpine Slide) , jumped on a trampoline whilst attached to a bungee rope, rode a chairlift, checked out some FIIINE looking mountain bikers (mr skank being the HOTTEST!) and went through a human sized maze in less then 10 minutes.... fun fun fun fun

Day 8: Grandpa's 80th,
Tearful, happy, exciting and family oriented.
It was a great day, filled with happiness, prayers and a huge load of family members :) This family is one who are clearly close and love each other very much and even though I had only met them for five minutes they still had me crying at all the stories they shared!
Hilton Garden Inn. No we didn't see Paris or her annoyingly cute little chouwowa (if that's how you spell it!). a night alone in the hotel room with abby, evan and kelsey. PARTY PARTY PARTY! haha only kidding.

Day 9:
sum up.
Slept in, watched some lord of the rings, got ready, ate breakfast, watched abby get a guys number, ate a HUGE pancake, shopped, bought a bra and undies for under 30 bucks! and drove back home to Lakewood Colorado.
I ate some tim tams and am procrastinating...

My week so far has been brilliant and i cannot WAIT for another week of excitement to come around :)
